Aaron is a dedicated structural engineer who believes the best solutions are developed from having a better and more fundamental understanding of the problem. Aaron recognizes that client priorities will vary and strives to understand and consider their perspectives to help ensure a successful project.

Prior to joining Pivot, Aaron worked for a nationally recognized firm specializing in forensics for 12 years. Aaron has gained extensive experience from structural engineering projects involving a wide spectrum of construction materials throughout the United States and internationally. Practice areas included failure investigation, structural evaluation, repair design, construction troubleshooting, bridge engineering, facade access and fall protection requirements, and difficult access investigations using industrial rope access techniques. Aaron served as an urban search and rescue Structures Specialist with Texas Task Force 1 for five years and was previously a certified welding inspector (CWI) through the American Welding Society (AWS).

Aaron earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering with high honors from The University of Texas at Austin and a M.S.C.E. with Structural Engineering emphasis from the University of Washington.

When not focused on work, Aaron is likely spending time with the wife and boy, chipping away at the honey-do list around the house, dreaming of golfing, or working on the next dog trick.
